I build things that ship, scale, and matter.

Building Jenjang — an HR intelligence platform combining an AI-powered ATS, psychology-based assessment, and HRIS — designed for how Indonesian teams actually work.

— 01

AI Systems

From custom-trained computer vision models to RAG-powered assistants — built and deployed to production, not just prototyped on a laptop.

— 02

Backend & Infra

Python, Laravel, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Docker, S3. Production-grade systems designed to scale, built to stay up under real load.

— 03

Products people use

Every system I've built has shipped to real users — from a COVID-era attendance app to an HR platform serving Indonesian companies today.

Not a resume —
a chain of decisions.

Each system I built taught me what the next one needed. Backend forced architecture. R&D forced data discipline. Production forced infra. Leadership forced everything else.

Most CTOs come from one deep lane. I've crossed four — backend systems, AI and computer vision, DevOps and infrastructure, and now product leadership. Each phase forced me to understand the layer below it and the layer above. It's why I can talk to engineers, product teams, and investors in the same conversation — and why Jenjang is built the way it is. Kelip.io — a product I led in 2023 that never shipped — is what turned me from an engineer who builds into an engineer who thinks.

2019Backend Developer

Where it started.

Wrote my first real system — a Digital Signature platform that embedded cryptographic certs into PDF metadata. Learned the hard way that correctness isn't optional.

2020Backend · Architect

First product, real users.

Shipped Presensiku during COVID. Face recognition attendance, dual-database backend, deployed to virtual machines I operated myself. Companies depended on it. That changed everything.

2021R&D / Edge AI

AI at the edge.

Not every customer can afford a data center. Using NVIDIA Jetson Nano and Jetson Xavier NX, I ran real detection workloads at the edge — people counting, vehicle counting, queue detection — with no cloud dependency, no bandwidth bottleneck, and no infrastructure bill that kills the business case for smaller customers.

This research became the foundation for the full computer vision system built in 2022, and the reason it was designed to run close to the camera.

2022R&D / AI Engineer

Models from scratch.

Three YOLO models — object, vehicle, plate — trained from raw data I collected and annotated. Wrapped in a streaming pipeline with RTSP, MediaMTX and RabbitMQ. Operators spin up services from a dashboard.

2023Product Lead

First product role. Wrong lesson.

Led Kelip.io — an IoT simulator — as my first real product leadership role. I approached it the way engineers do: identify what to build, build it well. What I missed was the foundation under all of it — understanding what users actually needed, and why.

The product never shipped. Market testing pointed somewhere else. We pivoted to custom IoT projects instead. That failure reframed how I think about engineering entirely. Technical skill without product thinking is just expensive assumptions.

2024DevOps · Lead Product

Stopped building services. Started thinking systems.

Container orchestration, deployment pipelines, system architecture for resilience. Bridged engineering with product strategy. The team became the product.

NowCTO @ Jenjang

Everything before — was preparation.

Leading engineering at Jenjang. AI screening, automated interviews, structured assessment, and Jeva — our RAG assistant grounded in company HR data. 1-on-1s every week. The technical decisions are only half the job.

— 01

Shipping beats perfecting.

A product in production, learning from real users, is worth more than a perfect system no one has tested.

— 02

Real data beats assumptions.

Whether it's training a model or making a product call — the answer lives in the data, not the meeting room.

— 03

Systems reflect the people who build them.

Good architecture comes from engineers who care. Growing the team is the same work as growing the product.

— 04

Build for context, not just requirements.

Indonesian companies have specific workflows. Generic software built elsewhere and localized imperfectly is not the same as software built here, for here.

— 05

The hardest problems are human, not technical.

Every system I've built eventually taught me this. The engineering is the solvable part. Understanding the people it's built for — that's the real work.

— 06

A 10x engineer isn't faster — they're better aimed.

Technical depth alone builds things well. Product thinking builds the right things. The combination is where real impact lives — and Kelip.io taught me the cost of having one without the other.

Currently building

The future of HR in Indonesia — built here, for here.

Jenjang is a data-driven human forecasting platform — built to help Indonesian organizations understand, develop, and make better decisions about their people.

At its core is the Jenjang Personality Factor (JPF) — a proprietary, scientifically developed psychological assessment tool that maps personality, work patterns, cognitive traits, interests, and leadership potential in one framework. Built in-house. Not licensed from elsewhere.

The platform brings 8 modules into one system: Psychological Assessment, ATS, HRIS, Talent Mapping, Job Fit Analysis, Performance Measurement, 1-on-1 Coaching & Counselling, and Jenjang Digital Identity. Available on web and mobile.
